If you`re adding a grapple and and rotator to an excavator with a hydraulic thumb, simply disconnect the hydraulic lines to your thumb, and use this kit on the same hydraulic lines. Once installed, the same function you typically use to operate the thumb will instead operate the grapple. When you activate the switch at the same time as using the function for the thumb, the oil will be redirected to rotate the grapple instead.
If you`re adding a log grab or bale grab to a skid steer, add this valve inline to the cylinders that tilt the bucket. When the switch is engaged at the same time as the ''bucket tilt'' function, the oil will be redirected to open or close the grapple instead.
